It is like the difference between Catrol Vancliechin and Monkey.
I'm not saying "nude" is the scientific name of "naked". It isn't.
When you use the word nude, it becomes a study. It has depth and a whole Atlantic ocean of meaning and knowledge behind it. While naked is just, well, naked.
For example, a nude model. People seldom call it a naked model.
It spoils a certain respect for it.
